Melo is in New York

So its official, Carmelo Anthony is officially with the New York Knicks. After weeks of wondering and rumors, the trade was finalized just days before the trade deadline of Feb. 24. The announcement was made via ESPN just last night (Feb. 21) . The deal is a three way deal between Denver, New York and Minnesota. Also coming over with Melo to New York are Chauncey Billups and Renaldo Balkman. Meanwhile Denver picks up Wilson Chandler, Danillo Galinarri, Raymond Felton, a first round 2014 draft pick, and a second round 2012 pick. This is a big move for New York. They are on route to becoming a strong team in the east.

Wiz khalifa's "Green Carpet Tour"

Wiz Khalifa has announced his new tour, "The Green Carpet Tour", which is the follow-up outing to his sold out 2010 "Waken Baken Tour".

Be on the look out for all new material from his highly anticipated major label debut "Rolling Papers".
The upcoming tour will hit 17 universities and colleges starting April 1st.

According to Wiz' reps, the "Green Carpet Tour" not only highlights the rapper's affinity for cannabis, but also promotes eco-friendliness, as the bus if fueled with biodiesel and recyclable and biodegradable products.

Curren$y's Muscle Car Chornicles release date announced

One of the favorites of the site, Curren$y, announced the release date for his upcoming project, "Muscle Car Chronicles". It will be released March 15 through Damon Dash’s BluRoc label.

The 9 track release will also include a DVD which will document the recording of the project.

Maybach Music Signs with Warner

After months of guessing and speculation, the boss finally has a home for his label. Maybach Music Group has partnered up with Warner Bros. The new partnership comes just off the heels of the signings of Wale and Meek Mill to the label. No details of the deal have been announced but this is a major move.Congrats to the boss.
