Beanie Sigel vs Jay-Z

Say it aint so hip-hop. When I heard about this next bit of news i was shocked and you will be too. Apparently Beanie Sigel is going at Jay-Z on the beef tip. That's right, that is not a typo. Beans is going at Jay-Z. I'm still getting updates on the story, but this is how it is so far...
A few days ago (October 25th) beans had some words for Jay at a concert in philly. Apparently beans was going in on Jay about some verses on the intro to the blueprint 3.  But just yesterday (October 30th) Siegel released a diss track tittled "Average Cat" and on the record, beans air out all he has about Jay. Personally I am a fan of both beans and Jay, and I hope this is just something small like beans says at the end of the diss. I would hate for these two to go at each other. Below I have footage from the concert in philly, and the diss track. Listen to the track closely to hear beans side of the story....

Fly Spotlight: Kel Spencer

Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to another edition of the fly spotlight. This week I bring you "The Best Rapper you've never heard of", Kel Spencer. He comes out of Brooklyn, New York and has very dope music. I have been a fan of his for a while now, and every song I've listened too has been worth it. But with all of the music he has put out, that wasn't what drew me in as a fan. It was his work ethic that did it for me. This guys hustle game is serious. Its hard not to go anywhere without finding his music. He's on myspace, facebook, twitter, tagged, youtube, and pretty much any other Internet site you can think of. This guys grind is unheard of in todays hip-hop. Please go support this music. If you appreciate good quality hip-hop, Kel Spencer is a good place to start. Below I have the video of Kel's new single, "Uggs to Hugs" featuring Jesse Boykins III. The track is off of his latest album "Salon Stories" which is hosted by MC Lyte. I also have one of my favorite tracks. Listen and enjoy....

Wale, Drake, Kid Cudi: GQ Man of the Year

Every year GQ magazines announces its man of the year award. Previous winners have included President Barack Obama, and Lupe Fiasco. But this year GQ did things a little different. To switch things up they simultaneous gave the "man of the year" honor to hip-hop stars Wale, Drake, and Kid Cudi. This is a real good look for all three men. Below is a pic of them at the GQ "Man of the Year" magazine photo shoot.Congratulations fellas....

Jordan L'Style

I'm not really a jordan fan, but I'm on these heavy. The Jordan L'Style is a really good look. These shoes have gotten a lot of criticism from sneaker heads. Either you love them or hate them. In my opinion, I think they are fresh. You probably won't see a lot of people in them. And that alone make me want them. You don't wanna be a follower, be a leader and standout. No word on price, but they are due out sometime during the fall.

Mishka

Fellas, I told you that its time to upgrade our swag. And this jacket is a good place to start. This coat by Mishka is a very fly look. My favorite about this coat is the double breasted buttons. Its just what you need to accentuate your style. You will pay $270 for this coat, but the price is nothing in comparison to a new swag lol......

Blaque Label

Ladies, check this new jacket from Blaque Label. I don't know what it is about it, but I thought it was really dope. Its different from most of the stuff thats out there. And the thing that stood out to me was the ruffle look of the jacket. It comes with an $86.00 price tag, but i would get it for my girl. Ladies, what do you think?????

Almighty GloryUS: Hyyerr

This is first single from  Cleveland rappers Kid Cudi and Chip Tha Ripper, better known together as the newly formed group "Almighty GloryUS". This track is featured on Kid Cudi's latest album "Man on the Moon: The End of Day." This is a very fly track and if this is what Chip and Cudi are putting together than I cant wait until that album comes out. Listen and enjoy....

Atmos x Reebok Court Victoy Pump "Velour"

I have been seeing alot of different styles of the classic Reebok pump coming out as of late, but these really caught my attention. Atmos has managed to come up with a pretty fly look for this classic shoe. The color ways are what caught my attention. The bright purple and green really make the shoe stand out. The upper of the shoe is velour and the pump matches the color of the shoe. These are expected to come out November 14th. Check the pics below for more looks at
the Shoe...

Fly Spotlight: Add-2

This week I bring to you Add-2. This Guy is a young MC out of Chicago and the boy is dope. I only just recently stumbled upon this guys music, courtesy of the good people at fake shore drive. The new wave of hip-hop that is coming through radios and speakers around the world is turning out some good music, and this dude is no exception. His sound is unique, and it just adds to (lol) the ever growing hip- hop scene of Chicago. I say that he is unique, because I don't really have a way to describe him. The only thing I could say is that he kinda reminds me of a Lupe Fiasco, but he does it in his own way. He's a fresh talent and I look forward to hearing more of his work. Now, like I said I only just started listening to his music, but I'm already a fan. If you get a chance, go check out his latest mixtape, "A Tale of Two's City vol.3: The Rise & Fall" (just click the pic for a link to dowload). I promise you will not be disappointed. I posted a couple of my favorite tracks from the mixtape below. Enjoy....

Add-2: "Luxury"/ "Locker Room stories"

Freddie Gibbs: Im That Nigga

Gibbs has done it again. Its not alot to say about this track because it speaks for itself. Yet another hit from one of the midwest's dopest. Enjoy...

Upgraded Swag: Tom Ford

Most of the fly gear I post for the fellas is usually street wear, but this time around I'm going a different route. Fellas, when you go out, its not always about t- shirts and jeans. Sometimes you gotta switch your swag up. Tom ford is a good look for the club if you wanna do it different. It is a little pricey, but the styles are very fly.
I will try to put up more looks for Tom Ford and other brands like it. It's time to upgrade our swag gentlemen, and I'm here to help. Why do you think they call me "The Fly Coniuseurre". I appreciate all things fly...

Ora Wristwatch

Ok, this by far has to be the sickest watch I have ever seen in my life. Just look at it and tell me it isn't fly as hell. This is a very creative concept. The watch completely outdoes the traditional time piece by going a totally different way on how we tell time. Greek Designer Alexandros Stasinopoulos has taken the concept of measuring tape, to measure time. The watch itself has three separate measuring belts one for hour, minute, and day. Each band overlaps adding another dimension to an already amazing looking piece. Take a look, at the close up of the watch along with the other colors. Very Fly....

Air Jordan XXV

Take a look at the Air Jordan XXV (25) coming out in 2010. Im not that big of a jordan shoe fan, but these are fresh. They look a little like the Jordan XIII (13). There is no info on a release date or a price but I know all the jordan fanatics are going crazy right now....

Robin Thicke: Sex Therapy

Ok with this edition of fly music, I decided to switch it up. As you already know, most of the fly music posts are hip-hop. But after I heard this new Robin Thicke, I had to post it. "Sex therapy" was produced by Polow da don, and I'm telling you its dope. And for fair warning, this is a panty dropper. So for all the lovers and love makers, listen and enjoy....

Fly Spotlight: Pill

Welcome to another edition of The Fly Spotlight. This week I present to you Pill. Pill is out of Atlanta and is big in the underground scene down there. He's been making a little noise down there and has been grinding for a while. When I first heard him, I was sold. He has the sound of a trap boy mixed with lyrical skill. He gives you the sound of the hood with a presentation of wordplay and enthusiasm that I haven't seen in awhile.

Pill has been working hard for a minute, I've heard him on tracks with Killer Mike and with the first Fly Spotlight Artist Freddie Gibbs. I'm really looking forward to his next mixtape. If you get a chance grab his last one, 4180: The Prescrition (just click the link). I promise you will keep it in constant rotation. Below I posted one of my favorite pill tracks...Enjoy

(Note: I know this weeks Spotlight was late, but the boy been busy so i didn't post....my bad...lol)

Lupe Fiasco: Fire

AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! That is what I said  after I heard this track. This song is fly as hell. Lupe never disappoints. He is one of the greats and he is doing his thing on this joint. And to add more to it, he's going in on a Jimi Hendrix sample. FLY!!!

Lupe Fiasco- Fire

FlyTV: Killer Mike & Big Kuntry- Imma Fool

This is one of my favorite songs out right now. I even have it posted in the soundtrack to flyness on the right side of the page. The combo of Killer and Kuntry is fly. and the concept for this video is dope. Its basically based off of the movie " The Hangover".  The track is from Killer mike's latest release "Underground Atlanta" which is in stores now. Watch and enjoy...

****WARNING****

This is the Uncensored/Uncut version of the video. It contains scenes of nakedness. I repeat this video is UNCENSORED. You have been warned....

Shyne is home today!!!

After serving a 9 year sentence for assault charges, former bad boy rapper Shyne has been released. Earlier today the news broke that the rapper who's real name is Jamal Barrow was finally released from prison. Today is a good day for hip-hop, because shyne has always had talent. Only Time will tell if he will be able to have the type of success he had before he was locked away.

I have been following this dudes career for the past 2 years, and he has been grinding in the music game very hard. His mixtape catalog speaks for itself, and if you get a chance to hear any of it you will not be disappointed. T-pain explains his Jay-Z diss

I've been following this T-pain and Jay-Z thing for a while now and I think its finally over. Well actually it was already over a few weeks ago, but more has come out of it recently. A track with T-pain recently hit the Internet, and it explains alot about how he reacted to the whole Jay-Z thing. It basically goes in about how he felt and how he jumped the gun on his comments. After I heard it, I now really respect pain as a man. He was real about what he did and he owned up to it. Listen for yourself and you will understand what I mean...
Oh and by the way if you have no idea what I'm talking about check out these past posts on the situation:

And here is the Track....
